KOROS is a significant architectural landmark in Mannheim, located at Gottlieb-Daimler-Straße 2. The building is recognized as a protected cultural and historical heritage site. The first section was constructed between 1974 and 1977, while the second expansion phase was completed between 1990 and 1994.
The building was originally known as ÖVA-Bau, as it was built for the Öffentliche Versicherungsanstalt der Badischen Sparkassen. Today, it carries the name KOROS.
The project was designed by architect Helmut Striffler, who emphasized the concept of “Licht – Raum – Kunst” (Light – Space – Art) in his work. The building features a rhomboid floor plan that reduces building depth, improves natural daylight in the workspaces and enables the formation of team-oriented office units.
During the renovation of the KOROS building, our partner company Jofa Tech GmbH was responsible for the MEP (TGA) package, while Voltec d.o.o. supplied the switchgear systems for the project.

- Withdrawable horizontal disconnector rails with double breaking, enabling replacement under load
- 11 panels in total
- 25 free-standing and wall-mounted distribution cabinets with Evrotehna sheet-metal enclosures and Siemens switching equipment
